3 Ways To Beat The Winter Blues

Feb 13, 2017

If you're like me, someone who loves summer, we tend to get the winter blues.  No worries! There's lots of things we can do to combat the blues.

1) You can watch a great movie for starters. I heard "A Dog's Purpose" is heartwarming. I haven't watched it yet myself but many have seen it. Here is a quote from someone who enjoyed it.

"Just when I thought that Hollywood could not bring us another well made feel good movie, hold on to your seat, they scored yet another home run with "It's a Dog's Purpose." I was amazed at how this movie captured all my attention with a topic that most of us can relate to. That is the relationship between humans and their canine pets. This movie actually portrays our canine friends as creatures of heightened intelligence, possessing an unselfish desire to love and be loved. If you want to feel good after seeing a movie, I highly recommend this one. It's a must see feel good experience."

-Tony M.

I personally can't wait to watch it. It shows a dog coming back having different lives and different owners, and ending up with the same owner years later. This owner turns out to be the little boy he shared his life with in a previous life. Simply amazing! Never thought of dogs having several lives.

Lots of love in that movie.

2) Why not make your own little movie of good moments and things you love in your everyday life. I put together short moments of our blizzard fun. Hope you enjoy and get inspired to make your own movie.

3) And lastly but not least. Show yourself some love. Be compassionate, invest in yourself, and find what works for you.

You can go outside.

Read a book.

Or look at old photo albums or pictures.

Sending you lots of Love!

Happy Valentine's Day!!
